The crowded Democratic field includes 18 candidates vying for the nomination and the chance to take on President Donald Trump in November 2020.


Ten candidates have already dropped out of the race: Former Texas U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke, Ohio U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Massachusetts U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, California Rep. Eric Swalwell, Miramar, Florida Mayor Wayne Messam and West Virginia state Sen. Richard Ojeda.
