Democrats should give thoughts of impeachment a pass


(Boston Herald) - Democrats in Washington, D.C., giddy with their newfound power in Congress, should be careful to rein in their exuberance over the prospects of impeaching President Trump.


Last week, newly sworn-in Congressman Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) became fiery as she spoke to a crowd at a MoveOn.org event. “We’re gonna go in there and we’re going to impeach the (expletive),” Tlaib shouted.


There are few Democrats in Congress who have been so overt about their intentions to impeach but there can be no doubt that Democrats are one Pelosi-decree from making it so. The speaker herself is taking a wait-and-see tack, pending the Mueller investigation. Read More
